Build A World Class Knoxville-Based Community Sufficiently Independent To Thrive In Possible Grubby Times By Establishing Stealth Intra-Squad Norms
Ἀρχίλοχος c. 680 – c. 645
Abstract: "With advancements in swarm intelligence, artificial intelligence, and wireless mobile network technology, unmanned swarms such as unmanned aerial vehicles, ground vehicles, ships, and other unmanned systems are becoming increasingly autonomous and intelligent. Benefiting from these technologies, intelligent unmanned swarms are able to efficiently perform complex tasks through collaboration in various fields. However, malicious use of intelligent unmanned swarms raises concerns about the potential for significant damage to national infrastructures such as airports and power facilities. Defending against malicious activities is essential but challenging due to the swarms’ abilities to perceive, understand complex environments, and make accurate decisions through multi-system collaboration. This perspective sheds light on recent research in counter-measures and provides new trends and insights on how to prevent malicious actions by intelligent unmanned swarms."

Normalcy bias is a psychological phenomenon in which people have a tendency to underestimate the likelihood or impact of a disaster or other crisis. This bias can lead people to make inadequate or inappropriate preparations for a crisis, or to underestimate the severity of the situation.
An example of possible normalcy bias is to assume or trust that you will always have electrical power, but what if your service is interrupted for say two weeks, or even longer...
Then what will you do?
A Knoxville News Sentinel video account of the tragic fire exposes clear examples of taxpayer paid "professionals' " normalcy bias which contributed- on different levels- to that 2016 disaster.
Gatlinburg Tennessee decision-makers unwisely built & relied on a ground-based-in-the-woods repeater system for 1st responders, which burned to the ground. This is in an area where wildfires historically occur.
Off-Grid Auxcomm Radio Club was formed as a result and is now a small group of self-funded volunteer civilians who train to try to help their neighbors in case of future incidents.
OGARC FCC Callsign: KN4CVN
Everything was just fine for a while, until it wasn't!
OGARC is a stealth, unassuming & abnormally dedicated self-funded squad which trains to provide emergency comms / EMCOMs utilizing various methods & with no reliance on the power grid. OGARC's seasoned operators + support personnel stand ready to assist in possible life-saving field comms, if asked to do so.
The advice-givers' advice clearly shows that we each must each think for ourselves. In the article below, a clueless advice-giver actually has the audacity to say this:
"If you are in need of food, water, gas or internet around Asheville, check the Citizen Times for an updated list of locations open for shopping."
So, you find yourself with your power off and your cell phone doesn't work... so how on God's green earth are you going to check the Citizen Times for an updated list of locations open for shopping?

This linked FEMA site states that $640,00,000 has been spent for non-citizen migrant arrivals placed in various communities around our country. Shouldn't that tax payer money be reserved for our neighbors, like those suffering great loss in Western North Carolina?
